Logistics Associate - Zebulon, NC.
Alphanumeric is hiring a Logistics Associate to work onsite in Zebulon, NC with our client of 20 years, a global leader committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.50/hour.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Associate to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material movement activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials and supplies are received, stored, tracked, and distributed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, packaging, storage, and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to maintain an efficient flow of materials and optimize warehouse space.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required warehouse and logistics documentation.
- Support inventory control, materials management, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Coordinate the movement of materials through various production and operational processes.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Follow established procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Monitor inventory and logistics activities and assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Utilize warehouse and enterprise systems to process transactions and maintain accurate material and inventory information.
- Support departmental performance goals and provide a high level of internal customer service.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, materials management, supply chain, or a similar environment.
- Previous experience with purchasing/supply activities or relevant training/certification in storekeeping, materials management, or business administration.
- Experience working with ERP or manufacturing systems such as MFG/PRO and/or JD Edwards.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Strong computer skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understanding of planning, inventory control, and materials management processes.
- Familiarity with GSK processes and systems.
- Strong process-improvement mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Team-building and customer-service skills.
- Previous experience providing direction or guidance to other team members.
