Alphanumeric is hiring Synthetic Chemists to support our long-standing client, a global biopharmaceutical organization committed to advancing science and improving patient outcomes.

This opportunity supports a cutting-edge Predictive Synthesis team focused on high-throughput nano-scale chemistry experimentation in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute nano-scale high-throughput synthetic chemistry experiments.
  • Generate, analyze, and document experimental data in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
  • Operate laboratory automation platforms such as Mosquito, Bravo, and/or Tecan.
  • Prepare analysis plates and support LCMS workflows.
  • Participate in scientific discussions and Predictive Synthesis team meetings.
  • Support laboratory operations including consumable management, lab organization, and equipment issue reporting.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, workflow, and data integrity standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in synthetic chemistry, preferably within high-throughput or nano-scale experimentation environments.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or advanced academic laboratory settings.
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation systems preferred (Mosquito, Bravo, Tecan).
  • Experience with ELN platforms and scientific data documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • High-throughput experimentation workflows.
  • Spotfire or scientific data analysis tools.
  • ACD Katalyst or similar ELN systems.
  • Supporting fast-paced discovery or predictive chemistry programs.
